About Craft house Chocolate

Craft House Chocolate was founded in 2017 by Pastry Chef, Annette Oakley-Prior.

Annette discovered the wonders of chocolate 4 yrs ago while training as a pastry chef in Dorset. 

Having tasted and used most of the chocolate that was available in the industry, she decided that it was time to explore the possibility of making her own chocolate from the bean. She started this in January 2018, sourcing beans from around the world and paying farmers a better price for cacao. 

After 18 months her passion and determination has paid off, she has recently won 4 academy of chocolate awards and 3 Great Taste awards for her bean to bar chocolate.  

Annette has since moved to Somerton, and has just opened her first Cacao House, in New Street.
